A curious Malagasy apocynacea with thin stems, divided by small 'knots' from which come the yellow flowers with thin petals united together at the apex. It is suitable for growing in a hanging pot. Undemanding in terms of care, it requires a medium organic soil and copious watering in the summer only. It suffers frost.
