Ceraria namaquensis

(Sond.) H.Pearson & Stephens

Item Code: PN3780

Today called Portulacaria namaquensis these plants are widespread in Namibia where they grow among the quartzite rocks in conditions of strong summer dryness which causes them to stop the vegetation. Growth is mainly winter. These are plants that are difficult to grow on their roots, so much so that the use of keeping them always grafted on Portulacaria afra, a species akin to it and much less demanding. It resists down to just under 0 °C.
